The Vampire Facelift involves two phases: The first phase involves the use of PRP, which is considered the “vampire” part of the procedure. This procedure is a truly regenerative treatment that involves harvesting the body’s own wound healing and regenerative growth factors to improve skin texture, as well as age-related changes like fine lines and laxity. Blood is drawn (just like a regular blood test) and then spun in a centrifuge system to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the other blood elements. This is then injected with tiny needles into the superficial layers of the skin. Although PRP can be used as a treatment on its own, many will opt for the full Vampire Facelift experience with the second phase of fillers added, which also means more immediate results.
The Vampire Facelift treatment is a gradual process, and there should be no worries about lack of immediate results, it can take four weeks for results to become apparent, with improvements seen around the six to 12-week mark. Most people report looking more refreshed and youthful, with a noticeable improvement in skin tone and texture as the results are worth the time and expense to go through the procedure.
Cost: $490 per treatment, packages available.
